Inspired by the Valentine season, this project weaves together symbolic elements of love and lust. The Queen of Hearts takes center stage, adorned in a flowing boubou (kaftan), worn mostly by West Africans as a symbol of both wealth and effortless elegance. Cowries, a rose, and the iconic hand gesture referenced from ‘The Creation of Adam’ by Michelangelo add layers of meaning, bridging tradition, passion, and destiny. In the end, the Queen of Hearts approves both love and lust as part of the game—one that often leads to a "happy ever after."
