I looked at all the potential ways to make images for this brand. To bring my ideas to life, from rough sketches to digital images, I have conducted a number of research projects. I have looked into using graphic design to create the brand's identity, including the logo, packaging, storyboards, animation, posters, illustrations, and patterns.
In my community, mgbusi are tribal marks that were formerly meant to provide protection. However, since their original purpose has been fulfilled, these marks have turned into beauties, leaving the minority's perception of them as scars on their indigenous people. The majority of its natives, who had previously been ashamed of these marks, now saw them as a source of pride and beauty rather than as a barrier. In telling this tale, I'm using these scars as design elements and as beauty marks on this garment because, like the scar that has come to represent my culture, the dress itself is a source of pride for African fashion. I want the boubou to be seen as a source of pride, just like this.
We promote the use of recycled materials for packaging, decorations, and other purposes; thus, I would like to turn this company into an environmentally responsible one. Perfectionism is not what we seek; rather, we value organic matter more.
