For the TEDx Port Harcourt Countdown 2021, an event focused on sparking conversations around the environment and climate action, I illustrated the speakers using minimal, flowing line art. The choice of simple, clean lines echoed the idea of sustainability: using less to say more, creating visual impact with minimal elements, much like how we must reduce excess to protect our planet.
The playful, organic feel of the line work symbolized connection and continuity, reminding viewers that we’re all linked in the shared responsibility of caring for the environment.
Speaker illustrations served as promotional materials and to identify the speakers at the event and also as part of the event installation.
